About

Fable Knows is an independent publication covering artificial intelligence, gadgets, and software. I write it to help readers understand the technology shaping their daily lives, without the hype, the jargon, or the borrowed opinions you find almost everywhere else.

My name is Ved Vyas, and I run this site on my own.

I am not a newsroom, and I am not going to pretend to be one. I am one person who works a full time job and writes here because I genuinely love it. AI is moving faster than most coverage can keep up with, and too much of what gets published is either breathless excitement or a lightly reworded press release. I started Fable Knows to do the opposite: read closely, check the facts, and publish only when a story is actually worth your time.

This is not my first attempt at building something like this. I tried before and it did not work out. I learned more from that than from anything that ever went smoothly, and I came back to do it properly this time. So if you are reading an early article, know that there is a real person behind it who is in this for the long run, not for a quick burst of posts and a quiet shutdown.

Here is what I hold myself to:

  • I research carefully and fact-check before anything goes live.
  • I write in plain language. No filler, no jargon for its own sake.
  • I publish when a story is ready, not on a schedule and not to chase a trend.
  • When I am unsure about something, I say so instead of pretending otherwise.

Fable Knows is ad-supported, which keeps it free to read and lets me stay independent. That independence matters to me. No company pays for coverage here, and the opinions are my own.

If you spot a mistake, have a tip, or just want to talk about something I wrote, the contact page is the best way to reach me. I read every message.

Thanks for being here. This one I am not giving up on.
